MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineering envisages the development, design, manufacturing and maintenance of machinery. The present age demands Mechanical Engineering specialists who have the capacity of adaptability and creativity in the new technical areas. Mechanical Engineers should have knowledge not only in their own specialized fields but also in wide interdisciplinary fields as well. To meet the above requirements Mechanical Engineering department offers Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the year 2008-09.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

The college offers courses leading to a three years diploma in Civil Engineering starting in the academic year 2010. The department has well qualified faculty and supporting staff. The staff has expertise in areas such as, Structures, Soil Mechanics, Environmental Engineering and Transportation Engineering. The department has adequate laboratories to meet the needs of the students majoring in Civil Engineering.

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

In this modern information age, the electricity, being the blood of everything, has become the indispensable part of human lives. India is rapidly developing power plants as the growing demand of power reaches new heights. Almost 80,000 MW power has to be generated additionally in a span of 5 years, which will provide bright future for the electrical engineers. The Electrical and Electronics Engg was started in the year 2008-09 to produce that potential engineers.

ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The department was started in the year 2007-08 and it offers three year full time Department of Electronics and communication Engineering course.The Globe shrinks to the size of a golf ball with the ultra modern communication techniques, thanks to the electronics intellectuals. Electronic engineers are the most needed persons in every spectrum of the world owing to the invasion of electronics into every gadget, machineries, and equipments & even to our apparels and garments. Day by day, the demand for electronic engineers is growing manifold. To fulfill this demand this course trains the students in broad areas of Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, Communication Engineering, Networking, Digital Signal Processing, Fiber Optics and hardware oriented computer subjects.

COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

The department was started in the year 2007-08 and it offers three year full time Computer Engineering course. Mankind can imagine the living without oxygen but not without computers as they become a part and parcel of our daily life. Computer Engineers are the Brahmas of modern world who creates miracle in every sphere of our life with comfort and ease with simplified method of carrying our day to day activities. The rapidly changing technology creates many opportunities and challenges for the learners. Electronics and computer are inseparable which leads to increasing demand for Embedded Software and hardware.

GARMENT TECHNOLOGY

The department was started in the year 2007-08 and it offers three year full time Garment Technology course. Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) predicted that about 25,000 crores will be invested in apparel and garment industry by the end of 2010 and more than 3,50,000 production and quality supervisors will be required. But the output from polytechnic and other colleges are only in few thousands, thus leaving a wide gap between the demand and supply of trained manpower in apparel and garment manufacturing arena.

AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING

The department is dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the practical training. We seek to develop in each student ability and passion to work wisely, creatively and effectively for the betterment of humankind.Automobile Sector is the field which has been witnessing unprecedented developments in the recent years. Its growth, being driven by the technological developments in multidisciplinary domains, the need for engineers with relevant and competent knowledge and skills will be strongly felt.
